Sjukan

Old converted military hospital on Kviberg's former regiment area. The beautiful house was built in 1921 in period style inspired by the Gothic and medieval bourgeois architecture, The Regiment area is now used for general activities such as sports and recreation. The whole environment has a great military history and building historical value. At Sjukan you also live next door to many other students as Kviberg, one of our larger student housing areas with just over 500 apartments, is located only a few hundred meters away.

There is a demand for larger student apartments, so-called "Friends´ apartments" as more and more students choose to share housing  with one or more study buddies. The house contains 12 apartments, of which 8 can be used as friends' apartments. Each apartment has its unique and charming plan solution. The 4 and 5-room apartments are intended for collective with college students or families and cohabiting couples where at least one person in each couple is a college student.

Smoke free housing

Many people wish to live in a smoke-free environment for various reasons. To cater for the needs of these persons and to create good living conditions, smoking is prohibited in the property at Sjukan.

The non-smoking policy is valid in the dwellings, in the communal spaces, on balconies and patios. Nor is smoking permitted outdoors in the close vicinty to the property. The tenant commits him-/herself to comply with the non-smoking policy on the premises and also to see to that any visitors, for whom the tenant is responsible, comply with the smoking ban.

Internet
SGSNET broadband is included in the rent.
Information about your Internet connection (how to register and setup) can be found under Internet/Guides. Remember that when you register it is the customer number printed on your rental contract you should use.

Storage
There is a storage room for each apartment in the basement.

Bicycle storage is available.

Laundry
All apartments except one and two room and kitchen have their own washing machine and dryer.
There is also a separate laundry room in the house.

Dishwasher
Apartments with 3, 4 and 5 rooms and kitchens have a dishwasher.

TV
Tele2 is responsible for cable TV, phone 90 222.

Household Waste / Recycling
Detached facility outside the house.

Electricity and hot water
Electricity is managed by SGS and added to the rent, which means that tenants do not need to sign an electricity contract. Billing takes place with a standard cost for the first two months and thereafter according to actual consumption. To see the standard cost click on the link below.
