SGS Studentbostäder does not own these apartments but rents them from another property owner. SGS in turn, rents these to students. This means that you as a tenant will live in a building among non-students. 

In the rental relations between SGS and the property owner, SGS is not responsible for repairs or maintenance in the property. Instead, SGS forwards fault reports to the property owner. This may lead to longer processing time compared to if you lived in an apartment owned by SGS.

Many of the areas were built during the 1950s and 60s which means that the state of the apartments may vary.

Small apartments by the Frölunda Torg square. By means of public transport the town centre is easily accessible. Frölunda Torg also features a large and convenient shopping mall. Located close to Ruddalens open-air activities area with jogging tracks.

Most faults are dealt with by Bostads AB Poseidon. The caretaker will enter your flat by making an appointment or you can leave a key in his office. The key will be returned in the slit of your flat after the fault has been attended to.

House telephone
For access to house telephone leave your telephone number to the caretaker at Poseidon for to be activated. When sameone calls on the house telephone your telephone will ring and to open the entrance door you press no 5 on the keypad. 

The door to your flat
On every door there is a container for keys up on the right side. It is there so that you may leave one key to the flat for the caretaker to enter the flat when you are absent. Only the caretaker has the key to the container and the key will only be used when a fault report will be taken care of.

Electricity
Electricity is not included in the rent. Report to Göteborg Energi AB, tel 031-62 62 62, or on their website http://www.goteborgenergi.se/English/Customer_service
Note:It is very important that you make a moving-in notification, otherwise there might be no power in the apartment you move into.

House telephone
There is no separate house telephone in the flat. If you want access to a house telephone you must have a permanent telephone subscription and hand the counterfoil at the back to the caretaker’s office. When the subscription has been registered there, your permanent telephone will also be used as a house telephone, i e when someone calls you at the entrance your phone will ring.

Storerooms
Each flat has a cellar storeroom marked with the flat number. You should check that your store is empty and then padlock it whether you will use it or not.

Household waste/recycling
There is a place for throwing away household waste in the garbage room outside the building.
There is a place for compost waste outside, near to the entrance door.
Recycling stations are located in the parking lot in front of the houses nr 25 and 31.
You can leave large waste in the room which is located between the garages 19 and 30 on parking lot. 

Laundry rooms
 
House nr 15-23, can use laundry rooms nr 1-4, yellow booking lock.
House nr 25-33, can use laundry rooms nr 5-8, red booking lock.
House nr 35-43, can use laundry rooms nr  9-12, blue booking lock.
Laundry rooms can be used every day from 08.00-22.00, max 5 laundry sessions per day. You can book your laundry time by using the booking lock on the board located in each laundry. You can use a drying room one hour after the end of the washing time.
The basement key opens also the laundry room.

Internet & TV 
Framtidens Bredband is the broadband provider in your apartment. Via their website you can get access to the Internet, digital TV and telephony. To learn more about the service providers and the options you can choose from, please visit www.framtidensbredband.se

Parking 
If you want to rent a parking place, contact Bostads AB Poseidon, tel 031-332 1000.

The yards are closed to cars with the gates. Gate key can be borrowed from Poseidon's caretaker (see contact information above).

In connection with moving, you are temporarily allowed to park in the parking ban area while loading and unloading the car. Keep in mind that you have to be by the car all the time. It is forbidden to park the car on the pavement or block the access to the building.
