The Masthugget student residence is located on traditional Göteborg soil at the foot of the Masthuggskyrkan church. It commands a breathtaking view of the port. This is a quiet, yet central spot. A green area of hillocks and picknick glades runs along the garden side of the building. The Social Science Centre and the School of Economics and Commercial Law are both very near. If you are studying at Lindholmen, you can cross the Göta Älv river by means of the ferry "Älvsnabben".

Single rooms are rented unfurnished. Equipment included is a lamp in the hall, a wall light in the shower room and a wall shelf in some rooms.

Channel 1, 2 and 4 are available for the tenants at Kjellmansgatan.

Household wastes

Garbage room is located next to entrances 7, 9 and 13. Bulky waste room is available next to entrance 11.

Communal kitchen

Communal kitchens at Kjellmansgatan are shared between nine rooms. Those who share the kitchens are jointly responsible for the daily cleaning. SGS Studentbostäder cleans the kitchen once a week. The floor, the stove, cleared benches and tables will be wiped. Please remove objects from benches, stove and tables before the cleaning personnel arrive. The tenants are responsible for the remaining cleaning and the maintenance of the stove and the refrigerator: see the manual in the cleaning closet.

Pub

There is a pub at Kjellmansgatan 9, second floor. For opening hours: see the notice board in your staircase.

Laundries

The laundries are by entrances no 7, 11 and 13.

Electricity is included in the rent. Electrical cabinet to the home is in the communal kitchen.
